Planning a holiday can sometimes be a little challenging especially if you want to ensure that the accommodation caters for your canine companions. Self catering accommodation is often the first choice for holidaymakers with dogs and there are now a great variety of properties of every size to cater for both two legged and four legged guests.

If you have dogs, one of the first things you will want to ensure is that there are plenty of walks in the location of your chosen accommodation. South Loch Ness is the ideal area for you to explore with your canine companions with a  variety of forest tracks and paths. A new access map has just been produced which outlines a selection of walks suitable for guests with dogs. Check some of them out on our walking page. The map gives details of short walks, long walks, walks along the shores of Loch Ness, walks with fabulous views which will take your breath away and everything in between.

Hazelgrove cottage at Inverfarigaig places as much importance in your pets comfort away from home as they do with their human visitors. Hazelgrove is ideally placed with forest walks starting at the bottom of the drive. Hazelgrove is so pet friendly that we allow up to 4 dogs in the cottage. We offer doggy biscuits as part of our welcome pack, provide dog towels to wipe down wet or muddy paws and throws to put on the sofas so they can relax with you in the evening. We also have some dog tags with the details of the cottage, just in case someone decides to go for an adventure on their own!
