An intimate club event in the Scottish Highlands that combines one of the worlds most stunning locations with some of the worlds most renowned underground DJ’s and Live Artists. OutDores returns for it’s second year of garden parties on Loch Ness, with the first event set to take place on April 1st 2017.

Previous parties in 2016 had played host to DJ Sets from Marquis Hawkes, Adesse Versions, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Big Miz, Debukas and more. This year will see even more exciting, established and upcoming acts joining the party at Dores beach.

Man Vs HorseThe annual race where men and women runners race horses. Set over 26km of stunning terrain, mostly with superb views of Loch Ness. The race includes several hill climbs and descents to challenge both runner and rider, totalling 300ft of ascent. Won by a runner in 2014, and a horse by only 3 minutes in 2015 its anyone's race.

Easter weekend is 14th - 17th April in 2017.

This is a busy weekend in the South Loch Ness area, especially as a late Easter will mean the primroses will probably be in flower at the time.

The Etape Cycle race completes a full 360° route around iconic Loch Ness, starting and finishing in the Highland capital of Inverness offers a fantastic challenge with unrivalled scenery on closed roads so whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a newcomer looking for your first sportive. Bring your family and make a holiday of it plyus give yourself time to explore the area and practice the course.
 
All cyclists must adhere to the minimum average speed of 13mph. This gives riders 5 hours and 35 minutes to complete the course. Cyclists falling behind this will be given the option of returning to the Event Hub in the sweep bus or completing the course on open roads.

NessCon the newest Comic Con in Scotland will be taking place at Eden Court on 08 & 09 Jul 2017.

NessCon will bring Movies, Gaming, Comics, Anime, Television, Gadgets, Clothing and Toys to the City of Inverness. Travelling to Pop Culture events is now a thing of the past, with this new Comic Con in the Highland Capital. NessCon is brought to you by Highland Heart Events.

One night, one stage, one helluva party - Scotland's most iconic festival location is being brought back to life with the launch of Groove Loch Ness. Groove Loch Ness is a back to basics dance festival with one main stage, taking place in Dores and will welcome a selection of DJs to the UK's newest dance festival.
 
In its first year, groove welcomed Groove Armada and 2manydjs. 2017 looks set to become even more exciting.

The Baxters Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running on 25 September 2016 offers something a bit special.  With its striking scenery along the shores of Loch Ness, varied routes, rousing support, exceptional organisation and carnival atmosphere, this race has something for everyone.  With over 9000 runners expected in 2016, why not make a Highland weekend of it and come with family or friends?  And if marathons aren’t your thing why not enter one of the other races?  With the Baxters River Ness 10K, 10K Corporate Challenge, 5K Fun Run and Wee Nessie, there’s a race for all running abilities and ages.
