Wonderful weather on south Loch Ness

The whole of Scotland has seen some fabulous weather this week. Unfortunately, at this time of year, the east coast and the Great Glen, are frequently subjected to Haar - a sea mist cause by warmer air moving over the cooler North Sea. But once the morning haar burns off (which has happened any time between 10 am and 6pm this week!), the weather on south loch ness has been wonderful. The kids are in their paddling pools, and many people escape the hustle and bustle of Inverness and head out to Dores Beach to catch some rays. This is not the traditional idea of good weather for ducks, but they seem pretty happy to me! So don't be disappointed if it looks misty when you wake up - this is generally a sign of a stunning day to come!
